Giant Ant, a creative animation studio in Vancouver.
Giant Ant has been awarded at the Daytime Emmys, ADC Awards, The Clios & One Show, and has been named 4 times on Working Not Working’s list of 50 Companies Freelance Creatives Would Kill to Work for Full-time—alongside NASA, Google, Tesla, Nike and Pixar.
In 2022 Giant Ant joined Residence, a network of likeminded creative companies founded by BUCK.
Jay Grandin co-founded Giant Ant in 2007 with girlfriend, Leah Nelson, after making a handful of questionably humoured quasi-viral videos, mostly starring themselves in far too few clothes. 18 years and 2 babies later, Jay has made thousands of wonderful things with his incredible Giant Ant team. With a new chapter coming, Jay is going to reflect on the past 18 years and some of the most valuable lessons he learned the way.
