Stanley Chow is an Illustrator from Manchester. He is probably best known for his iconic minimal geometric portraits.
His career began in mid 90s where he was designing flyers and posters for nightclubs and bars in city centre of Manchester, storyboarding for adverts and illustrating for teen and fashion magazines. He received global recognition for his work with the White Stripes which earned him a Grammy Nomination for best limited edition packaging design in 2008… since then he has worked for many publications in the USA, most notably The New Yorker and The New York Times and his clients include Manchester United, Adidas, Nike, BT, Vodafone, VW, Netflix, McDonald’s.
In Manchester his illustrations have also been used for Andy Burnham’s Mayoral campaigns, Chinese New Year celebrations and Get Me There (precursor to The Bee Network).
