Will MacNeil is a Creative Director, digital artist and innovator who fuses data, code, art, and storytelling.  He bridges traditional visual design with things like real-time systems, data-driven generative art and machine learning for projects across film, broadcast, experiential, fashion, sports, and cultural institutions — always with one goal: to push what’s possible creatively, and deliver work that isn’t just pretty. It’s meaningful. Much of his work collapses categories — turning data into wearable design, translating human signals into real-time installations, or building cinematic sequences that behave like living systems. 

Having spent over 12 years at The Mill and MPC, Will now works for freelance clients including Nexus, Journey, Qsas, S1T2 and Universal Everything.

Will also speaks at design and technology events such as OFFF and Mouvo and is a regular contributor to SideFX Software’s Houdini Hive events.
